In the winter the Artistic Adventurers club work hard to make hand made art. They make things from bracelets to greeting cards to picture frames.
In the spring they take all that they made and sell it. All profits go to a non-profit organization called Heifer(http://www.heifer.org/). In basic words with the money that we donate to Heifer they buy an animal of our choice and then Heifer will give it to a family in need. The family has to promise to pass on the gift of giving. As people share the offspring of their animals – along with their knowledge, resources, and skills – an expanding network of hope, dignity and self-reliance is created that reaches around the globe.
